What aperture should you use for portrait photography?

A: It's better to use a wide aperture (f/2.8 to f/5.6) to create a shallow depth of field behind the subject. Some portrait lenses can go as wide as f/1.4

What shutter speed should you use if the focal length of the lens is 55mm?

A: A shutter speed greater than 1/focal length is recommended. For 55mm, a speed of 1/60 s or more is ideal

What shutter speed should you use if the focal length of the lens is 300mm?

A: Greater than 1/300 s

If you are using AV (aperture priority mode) How could you increase your shutter speed? 

A: By using a wider aperture or setting a higher ISO.

What happens if you increase your ISO?

A: The photo becomes brighter but also more noisy.

What angle will make your subject appear taller than they are?

A: Shooting from a low angle will make a subject appear taller than they really are.
